Orchid + Oud Wood Fragrance Oil

I got this oil at the recommendation of the owner to mix with Milk Musk for a perfume to give it a little something “extra.” It was love at first sniff. This oil is the perfect creamy wood scent, with a soft floral backdrop. It’s perfect on its own. I did blend with Milk Musk and the two together meld beautifully. I make solid perfume with beeswax and the high IFRA allowed me to go a little stronger and I had immediate scent throw. Don’t pass on this one!

This fragrance is really soothing and relaxing. It's great on its own, but I've also used it as a blender to soften other fragrances that need to be a little less bold / sharp. I made a room spray with it for myself and often use it before bed. This is the scent that made me love Scentsorie.

This was my first purchase from Scentsorie and I’m blown away! Orchid + Oud Wood is such a beautiful take on the traditional Oudh (agar wood) scent without making you think it’s TOO much. I have yet to burn the candle I made with it but it smells beautiful! I especially loved the sample scent I received of Gardenia + Coconut Cream and I will be purchasing that in the near future, I guess I’ll be debuting a number of new candles soon!

I've made this in both a candle and room spray now, and it so creamy and lovely. It also layers very well with Lavender Ebonywood. I am looking forward to trying it in soap next. It envelops you in this creamy and elevated scent that you can't get enough of. Well done on this!
