Pistachio + Vanilla Crème Fragrance Oil

7 total reviews

Addictively indulgent, it's reminiscent of long, hot days at the beach.

Delicious and tropical, this fragrance oil will bring you back to summer all year long. Nutty pistachio notes are blended with vanilla crème and toasted almond, the  sweetness is then balanced out by sun warmed driftwood, for an intoxicating finish.

I wanted to be able to use this so badly.

my shipment arrived very well packaged and quickly so thank you to this brand for that truly!
now, this is not a "bad" scent. any sense of nuttiness that I did get was almond-like, which is very commonly said about pistachio fragrances. however the almond in this scent, for my preference, smells quite artificial. when I first opened it I knew immediately I could not use this for my intended pistachio lotion fragrance, or if I could, it would have to be so heavily and thoroughly mixed with another fragrance, probably multiple at that. I made the mistake of purchasing more than one fragrance from a brand I hadn't shopped with before and that's on me. the other scents I got were also not bad, but will also have to be used differently than intended. looking back, id recommend everyone read the descriptions very carefully and more than a few times. what I've noticed is that they tend to be describing more of an essence or experience that they are trying to capture and not the actual fragrance itself. I still don't know if ill be tossing this one out or attempting to play doctor with it to create something new. I was thinking about making it an amaretto scent because of the slight almond but its just way too far off from any sort of authentic nuttiness for me to even do that. actually, as I type this I realize it reminds me of a sweeter, nutty smelling sunscreen, and if it was used as a fragrance for that it might actually be quite lovely!
